Family Centered Complete Maternity Care

We are Licensed, Certified Professional Midwives providing quality care for pregnancy and birth. We will provide your prenatal care and assist you in the birth of your baby if you live in Corpus Christi, Texas or in any of a number of the surrounding communities (within about 150 miles of Corpus Christi, including Alice, Beeville, George West, Goliad, Ingleside, Kingsville, Portland, Robstown, Rockport, Three Rivers, etc.

Important Update for 2008: We are now able to offer commplete maternity care for women in many parts of the Rio Grande Valley. We travel as often as once a week to McAllen, Edinburg and Weslaco to provide prenatal care in the homes of our Rio Grande Valley clients.  Clients are offered the option of having their prenatal care done in our Corpus Christi office or for a small additional trip fee, we provide all home visits.

Gentle Beginnings offers complete quality care for pregnancy and birth. At Gentle Beginnings, we specialize in natural childbirth. We provide you with many birthing options, including home birth, water birth, VBAC and much more. We accept--indeed, we encourage---family involvement and personal birth plans.
