Water can be very relaxing to use during labor. At Gentle Beginnings we use water in labor many ways. Some women enjoy standing in a shower while in labor. Others may just want to spend some time in the tub. Some of our clients even make plans to deliver in the water by using a purchased or rented "birthing pool."
